Gosh, you've got the smoothest texture of royal icing ever!

I keep checking out this photo. About to make an order of baby shower cookies. NOT This theme, but love the technique. What is the" second" method you used for your royal icing? Did you use Wilton, Americolor or some other brand of coloring? The colors are so vibrant! Did you apply the letters, numbers and owls directly to the flooded cookie or did you make transfers and lay them on after flooding? Everything is SO perfect! I just love them!

Thank you so much!! I use Ali Bee's recipe for RI. I use 20 second flood and Americolor colors. I love all things bright, so I tend to go really vibrant when mixing. I did the detail right on top of the flooded cookie. I've never tried transfers before but I do want to.

Oh, and I use a fan when drying. One of the best tips I ever received from a Cookie friend. It helps to achieve a smooth texture and a bit of a shine as well.
