Loved this challange! Although I'm not as much a fan of mixing RI colors (and traditionally paint on white flooded cookies) I did really enjoy stretching in an area I'm less adept at. I first tried to simplify a rose by doing a sketch study and then used the sketch as I created my bouquet. Thanks for another great challange!

Congratulations on being our first entry (again)! These are terrific. What were you weather conditions like when you made these? Humid, or dry? And, do you think weather conditions were a factor for you in making these?

Good question. I can guess that (with the heat on) the air is dry. I just added a few sprinkles of water to each color and mixed before bagging them up. My RI is always on the dryer or thicker side, and knowing I would need more time to play, I just made it a bit wetter.

So pretty. They appear to be on sticks - love it.

Thanks, Nikki! I like the way you think! I was trying to lay them in the tissue paper to look like a bouquet, but your idea makes me think next time maybe I'll put them on a lolly pop stick to make an actual stand up set. xoxo How fun!
