For these cookies I divided my cookie dough into 2 halves. One half I have red, the other colored green. With a 4-beam cutter, I then gouged out the cookies. The leaf veins are carved with a small knife. After baking I glued one green and one red cookie on top of each other. The upper Poinsetta leaves I printed on sugar paper, cut out and glued on top with a thin layer of frosting.
Disadvantage: you can see the white edges of the cut ...
Advantage: the cookie taste itself is preserved by the little decoration.

My dear friend Heather, Thanks for your always kind words my friend!!! I appreciate it very much!!! ...I did not see it that way, for me it looked like cut. Thanks a lot Heather!! ❤️😘❤️  @Heather Bruce Sosa

Oh how gorgeous dear Gabi @Icingsugarkeks!! Love the deep red color of the poinsettias and your creative approach to making these Christmas cookies. Beautiful my dear friend ❤️. (I agree with Heather about how the white adds dimension and another unique quality to your work.)
