Sarah, you did a wonderful job on your fisrt snowglobes! Julia is a wonderful teacher! I have her, cookie swap book and enjoy watching all of her video tutorials! Thank you for entering your snowglobe cookies, in the practice bakes perfect challenge, for everyone to see and enjoy! Will you please share the cookie and royal icing recipes you used to make them?

Hi- thanks for your lovely comments! I really like the idea of the practice bakes perfect challenge, its great to make time to try something a little different and have some fun too! I used a simple vanilla sugar cookie- the recipe is on my website www.cakespa.co.uk/recipes under 'biscuits for decorating' and for my royal icing I use just icing sugar and pasteurised liquid egg white. Its very convenient to make but I'm still experimenting as sometimes the icing does take quite a long while to dry. I am also not very patient particularly with run-outs...!
