Amazing!  I have tried but I need some more basic tips of how to handle pallet knife.  Absolutely no idea....

Dear Ryoko, I suggest you to search on Youtube ‘sculptural painting’ videos.Even if all works you’ll find are made with plaster on wood, the proceed is the same with royal icing!!!

Such an amazing work, Evelin! You sure took this technique to a whole other level than is shown in the video. These roses look so real the way you textured (and I guess painted?) them. Breathtakingly beautiful ❤️❤️❤️!

Thank you very much @iSugarfy (aka swissophie)! They are not painted, I just added few dust colors in the end, when dried, to give a more vintage look to petals. Preparing colors is much easier than usual because you can mix gel colors with icing while working with the spatula at every petal. This gives a realistic and vibrant look at the flower arrangement 🌹 So happy you like it!

These are simply amazing! But to be honest they look totally different from link you posted.(even better though)  did you still use a palette knife? The leaves look a lot thinner. They really are gorgeous❤. I would love to see a mini tutorial from you as well

Dear @talia, in Evgenia’s video you can see how to work plaster on wood. I’ve been working with the same spatula but using royal icing. Changing the medium, consistency and thickness changes. Royal icing is also very sticky so the technique is similar but different at same time. To do leaves I’ve used same method of petals but put them in the support reversed. In the video is shawn out to put petals on the support but not how to create petals with spatula, the difference in thickness is also in this proceed. I am not going to do a video at the moment on this  because I had the permission by Evgenia to give a class next month in Milan, so sorry. I hope to have been helpful. I suggest you to search sculptural painting videos on Youtube, you’ll find a lot of ‘how to’ to learn how to use a spatula to create flowers 🌸
