I met on the beach 2 seagull gossiping, immediatelly crossed my mind icon of 2 grannies making the same, anyway becouse feeling, smelling in the air already summer I thought to make something with summer touch and So difficult this period to meet close each other at least we afraid... couse COVID-19 so I really miss close communication with good friends,or just neighbors to say something,so I wanted to express how much I miss these so usual things which were so normal ,obviously and daily some months ago and now we miss it soooo much.

with isomalt I filed cookie frame and I started with smallest spatula quickly brush small waves, some also just on silicone mat and then glued on the isomalt base with bit hot isomalt, also when is stil hot isomalt I use small wooden stick with blue color and I mixed it in.Some waves with stiff royal icing brush done..as on following photos after insert in alluminum foil to get form and "baked"drying on 50degreesC for a few minutes.I baked also some little stone from gingerbread dough, after just with color and a bit alcohol brushed, they are down the whole frame with isomalt so maybe can't be seen.My frame was broken becouse I was in a hurry,so I suggest if you work especially with butter dough and you bake in mold let it completely cool down and after carefully take out ,it's very breakage ! If your butter cookie break remember best glue is isomalt,or caramel from regular sugar.

Hope you like my idea as well as my creation❤️

Petra, I loooove your creation! The fact that we relate everyday episodes with cookies shows how crazy we are about all this!!!😂

You have done a wonderful job with great techniques and details. Yes, we are sometimes so eager to see the results that we forget each step needs it’s time, (such as with everything in life)... part of our learning process too. Congratulations!♥️

So, so true, dear Petra! I’m a “hugger”, especially with my grandkids, this is what I miss so much. And yes, seeing friends and sharing time together is so hard to hold back from. Praying this will finally come to an end sooner than later. Thank you again for your lovely cookie. Huge hug, dear friend 🥰

Huge hug Heather,we have to resist and stay safe until some effective treatment will be in the air ..and back to my cookie,I'm really so glad you like my creation, thank you once again ❤️

Your use of isomalt is very creative. For this challenge, I was looking more so for entrants to use the traditional brush embroidery technique - which uses royal icing - to create their not-so-traditional designs. The three photos shown right before the rules are a good example of what I mean. In other words, your isomalt waves would not be considered to be brush embroidery but your royal icing waves would. Also, the color of your water is very beautiful.

You are so creative and you are not afraid to use any media

yes you are right,my experiments have no border, love to combinate different if I can say materials, thank you dear Manu for your❤️comment
