I actually said a bad word when I saw this... 

Yankee Girl- Which one? (Just kidding!)  The whole body had a curve in it and the wings were curved too.  It was probably the most (curseword) thing I've ever done in gingerbread!

I can't even begin to comprehend how you made this... it's AWESOME!

Fantastic creative work.  Love how you made the dragon like a puzzle piece.

I cant imagine making this out of gingerbread and having all the pieces hold without breaking.  I bet this one was a challenge and you won.

I involved a large scale printer to get the right profile for the dragon, chipboard and masking tape in the oven to make a curved baking surface, and a ton of Maori clip art to do the icing.  I got the 3D idea from a wooden kids puzzle of a dinosaur!

Wow! I used a curseword, too, when I first saw this! Incredible and so creative!

TriciaZ- it did break! I had to go in when it was on display and fix the wing where it broke off! See the gobs of frosting where the wings meet the body? I have some pics on my Facebook page that show the whole thing and some are pre breakage!
