Spring Equinox

I knew I wanted to use this pinterest board to inspire a set for Easter. It lead me in all kinds of different directions!

The gold piped egg, bottom right, was designed with the architectural lines in the mosque of photo 19 and the metal work on in photo 12

Photo 8 tile reminded me of Celtic art work which lead to the designs on the white eggs.

Photos 4 and 9 inspired the dark blue colors and gold used, as well as the golden sun behind goddess on large egg.

Photo 7 lead to the choices I made for stenciling the bunnies and piping the bottom left egg.

Clever and very pretty -  love the mask.

This is such a creative set, and a wonderful example of how far inspiration can take you fron the original object of inspiration.  Because really all art is just a remix of indpirationsl art that came before.  You do this brilliantly here, Kerri!
