Thanks a bunch! But this time I can hardly take credit for the color - it came straight from the bottle  It is PEM Airforce Blue.

I cannot draw a circle either. That's why I don't do it. I work without outlining, apply the icing and gently push it into shape. A lot easier to achieve a nice circle this way.

ADORE the whitework, and it looks wonderful on that blue. I laughed when I read your circle workaround. I had to 'study' all the angles while I practiced circles and do OK - still the RI has a will of it's own.

Thanks so much! Circles can drive me crazy, my hand always starts to shake so badly when I try to get them even. But with this technique, and a little willingness of the icing, I at least sometimes get them clean.
