When I read about the new challenge I thought of a nice tea party in a summer garden. Flowers, butterflies and bees everywhere. In the middle a little place with white iron furniture (those with lots of swirls and such). The table decorated with cake, tea and lovely porcelain. Around that table you have the pary guests. The ladys wearing summer hats and the guys looking at their pocket watches all the time - because it's not quite their thing. - - - The base of the cookies have been piped with colored Royal Icing. It was aged a little after it dried. Then I applied the wafer paper bits at some and piped everything else in white. After that was dry, everything was painted and additional details added whenever I felt like it. For all of these cookies I made pencil sketches first. Just love doing it and it makes me more certain where to place what and how big it should become. Again it was great fun to enter this challenge! So inspiring β™₯ Some more photos can be seen here

This is a lovely, lovely set of cookies!  What could be a more vintage theme than lace, roses and china tea cups?! I really like all of the different backgrounds you created for each of the cookies - they really set the vintage tone. Well done!

Thank you very much! I'm really loving these challenging as I finally have a reason to do cookies without any special reason, haha
