It is first time for  @Manu biscotti decorati to visit Japan, she even visited my town before her departure.

Manu and I met here on Cookie Connection, we talked about cookies, she helped me to design cookies, we worked together, we share many things and we met in Bangkok then in Japan!   I learn a lot from her, not only about cookies but culture and many other things.  She keeps me amazed just like she does to you by her tutorials and her pretty cookies.

Before she visited me, she told me what she saw and she took a bullet train.   For her memory in Japan, I put Mt. Fuji, autumn leaves and a bullet train "Kagayaki" on the cookie.  I am not good at knitting technique but I just thought she must feel cold here and made knitted sweater and cap with her favorite blue color.

A bullet train is painted, leaves were made with colored very thin icing

Oh, she is much prettier than this, just as sweet as my icing 😃

Besides the beautiful cookie you created, what mostly attracted me was the enormous love you poured into it!! I am so grateful you were able to see each other again and enjoyed such a special time together! Another blessing from this group🥰

This is just so precious. I love the blue knitted sweater and hat Manu and the things from Japan. You are so sweet both of you and I am again a bit gelous...😘😘😘💖💖💖

Carol @Cookies Fantastique you are definitely on my wish list to meet!

This cookie really surprised me, Ryoko, because it was like looking at the picture I sent you only five days before I visited you. And you made a “cookie story” by adding me and the train in the picture... the best souvenir from Japan. Thank you for the nice words about me, I learned a lot from you too.

When I told my family and friends about my trip and that I stopped in your town before leaving Japan, they asked me where/when we met. I say Cookie Connection, like if it is a real place somewhere, where you could (physically) go. Cookie Connection is a virtual place, a wonderful website, but the connections made in this amazing community, day after day, among people who share the same passion for cookies are real. So happy to have met you again in person.

You don't need to practice anything. You are perfect the way you are 💗💗💗

I would love to visit Japan one day. I watched a video recently about 10 things you should not do/not polite to do in Japan. So I am more than prepared 😆  I only wish most of them apply for place I live/lived.

If she couldn't come down to my town, I thought I was going up north to see her but she stopped at my town before her departure😍and I could show her a little castle in my town.  I hope to see you, too.
