Whimsy Angel Wings

A quick note.. after hand-punching the mini hearts out of the wafer paper sheet, there were strips left - scraps if you like. These I decided to keep and I cut them up and placed onto the wet flooded cookie.. You can probably see a few overlaps and upside-down pieces..

Interesting. And the mini white hearts - are they also edible paper? They don't look like it from here since they seem to have more dimension. Thanks.

Hi Julia, where you see the white mini hearts is the Royal icing coming through the holes in the wafer paper (the mini hearts were punched out and are on the other cookies in the Whimsy set) By pressing down the scraps of holed paper, it made the fresh wet RI come up through and look 'puffy'. Feels lovely dry
