Luxe Layers (And Airbrushing 102) - A CookieCon 2020 Add-On Workshop with Julia

Class Description:

Stencils can sometimes lead to cookie-cutter designs, but, in this hands-on class, Julia demonstrates that stenciled cookies can be just as unpredictable and original as any other type of cookie – plus light years faster to make! (Exactly what every cookie business owner needs – designs both beautiful and budget-friendly!)

You’ll mix and match elements in Julia’s Dynamic Duos™ stencil sets, and couple them with several other techniques, to create luxe layered looks that are sure to impress. You’ll also receive an advanced lesson in airbrushing that covers multi-color applications on one stencil using precision-control and shading techniques.

Techniques covered: Airbrushing (both precision-control and shading), stenciling, dusting with compressed petal dusts, wafer paper ruffles and ribbons, royal icing transfers, hand-piped roses, fondant appliqués, and modeling chocolate bows and ribbons.

Prerequisites: This class is suitable for all skill levels. Some airbrushing experience is helpful, though not necessary.

Notes:

1. All tools and materials will be supplied, but are for classroom use only.
2. Class size is limited to ensure everyone gets the utmost of Julia’s attention - so don’t delay in signing up!
3. Each student will leave with one to two lavishly decorated cookies (in a take-home cookie box), one of Julia’s stencil sets ($19 value), a set of digital class notes with Julia’s recipes and sources, and some other surprises specially handpicked by Julia.
4. Students’ designs are limited to two of those depicted in the photos, or two of their own imagination, limited only by the tools on hand in class.
