Hi, all! It's time for another installment of "Did You Know?"! This one was spurred by one of our contributors, who would like to see more impromptu connections made on this site! I'm all for making more connections, as I'm sure many of you are, so I wanted to point out a key (yet currently very underutilized) tool on this site that makes spontaneous connecting very easy.
It's called our "Casual Cookie Chat in Real Time!" chat room, and it's open 24/7 to allow people to ask questions, introduce themselves, interview others, or do whatever your heart desires, within the limits of this site's Terms of Use. 
In short, it allows you to create your own chats!
Here are some ideas for the types of "events" that you can stage in this room:
1. Pop-up "Celebrity" Cookier Chat: Reach out to your favorite cookier, and ask her/him to answer questions there for an hour one day.
2. Informal Informational Hang-out: Gather your cookie friends at an appointed time to chat about whatever burning cookie question (or questions) you'd like answered once and for all!
3. Fan Club Meet-up: Gather your Facebook or Periscope fans for a more personal one-on-one (or I should say, one-on-many) chat with you.
Just be sure to let me know if you plan to do any or all of these things, and on what day and time, so I can blast the event into my social media channels. (And make sure no one else is planning to do something similar at the exact same time! )
