Edible Marker Bleed/Smear

When I heat-sealed this cookie, the writing in edible marker smeared and bled into the cookie where it says "love". I flooded my cookies on Wednesday, added detail on Thursday and let them dry overnight in each case. I do understand that the pink heart may have been wet so the bleeding where the line and heart meet can be explained. I also do use corn syrup in the icing but only 1 tsp. for 2 lb. powdered sugar. Otherwise I don't really understand why this happened.
