Kopykake and Dark Cookies

Just wondering if anyone has any tips for using a KK on black (base-coat) cookies? I am wondering if printing the font 'negative' (White font on black background) would work? Any tips would be great, otherwise I'll let you know how I go with my experimenting tomorrow! Thanks in advance
