I just enjoy having the tools when I want to work on my "hobby". I like trying new things...and if I go nowhere with it, it's okay. It makes me happy. I, too, am no young thing. Some of the cookie cutters I have were my moms, or ones I bought over the past 30-something years of baking. I find LOTS of stuff on sale (75-80% off and I can barely resist!), I won 20 cookie cutters in a give-away, I taught a beginner decorating class and had to have a ton of supplies for the class (it broke even and I had fun, so that was good)...and my kids give me things from my rather lengthy Amazon Wish List for Christmas and Birthdays. There's not much I want for...beyond good books, good music, and cookie-ing equipment! Life has been good to me.
