Such amazing work my dear @iSugarfy (aka swissophie)! You've even added shading to the braids . I love it. The little mouse is precious and perfectly proportional to the whole scene...a wonderful addition to an already complex, detailed work.  And the face on the tree trunk adds to the magic of the cookie art. You always amaze me my dear friend ❤️. Your talent knows no bounds...

I can even read "Once Upon a Time"...awesome. The expression on the fairy's face is lovely.

Your title for this cookie really drew me in because I am the "Book Fairy" to 2 of our grandkiddos (no joke). Once in awhile the girls receive a package from "the Book Fairy" that I've picked up on Amazon. They're not supposed to know it's from Grammie Carol but that's probably leaked out by now . Encouraging reading is so important! I love that message about your masterpiece.

Simply fabulous work!! Be safe and well dear Sonja  ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so very much for your very kind words, dear Carol  @Cookies Fantastique  ❤️❤️❤️! You always take so much time and care to write such thoughtful comments.

I made this cookie for a library exhibit in the US, but only had 9 days for it. That might seem long, but with planning the design in my head and on the computer, and figuring out how to translate the idea into cookie form, it didn't leave me with as much time for the actual cookie work as I wished I had for it. The human face was an absolute first for me, and I made it 4 times until I was kind of okay with it, haha!

You know, I was an antiquarian bookseller way back when... I got into it because I wanted to find good literature for my kids whom I was homeschooling. And oh, did I ever ! So yes, I too think encouraging reading is one of the most important things one can do for a child. Way to go, my sweet Grammie Book Fairy ❤️❤️❤️!

I can’t believe the enormous amount of tiny details your cookie has!!! Really amazing 👏👏🥰

Yeah, I wanted to make it special, because it was a request by a library for an exhibit. And as I just wrote to Carol, enticing children to read, is one of the most important things we as adults can do, IMHO.  Thank you so much for your kind comment, dear Heather @Heather Bruce Sosa ❤️❤️❤️! You always find something nice to say .

9 days??? Did that include shipping time? That's not much time at all, especially for the amount of detail in your work. You did such an amazing job! Now, I'm totally blown away when thinking about those time constraints. You DID it...and the cookie is brilliant .

An antiquarian bookseller? How absolutely fascinating! And you homeschooled your kids? Ambitious and so challenging my dear friend. I believe that all parents are, or should be, teachers. It's a vital part of parenting. Our daughter consistently requests that "the book fairy" send books that teach as well as entertain. I love that about her as a parent (I may be a bit biased though, LOL).

Take good care of yourself and family dear Sonja ❤️❤️❤️... As always, I eagerly await your next cookie project!
