Reply to "Blotchy Confectioner's Icing"

Hi, @Koko, yes, this is the right spot for this post. Usually, humid drying conditions lead to spotty results. (Some say butter bleeds into the icing and also spots it, though I've never had that trouble.) Have you tried drying in front of a heat fan to accelerate drying? Or perhaps try royal icing - the added egg white in it causes the icing to set and dry faster. Best of luck.
