It took me a few years to find what I consider the "perfect" recipe. I don't mind sharing what I was able to find. I'm sorry, I can't even remember whose blog I found it on to give them credit, but here goes: 2 Sticks Butter, 1 cup granulated sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1/2 tsp. almond, 1 egg, 3 cups flour, 2 tsp. baking powder and I add just about 2 Tbsp. of cornstarch (my idea - seems to create the nice clean edges of the cookie). Best tasting cookie recipe I've ever eaten and all my customers love it! Give it a try Dukemom!
