This is my 2nd sculptural flower cookie. Again thanks both Evelin @Evelindecora (sculptural painting on cookie) and Evgenia Evgenia_ermilova for the inspiration.❤️

Initially baked circle shaped cookie using chocolate cookie dough.

Cookie size= 12cm diameter

First, I applied white and green RI on top of the cookie by using a palette knife.

Medium -: Royal Icing and Fondant.

Types of Flowers-: Orchids, Heliconia, Marigold, Lily and Baby’s breath.

Applied very stiff royal icing by using a palette knife for “Orchids, Heliconia, Marigold” and “Leaves”

Used Fondant for, Lily and baby’s breath. Did not use any molds or cutters, pure handmade.

And I used Julia’s @Julia M. Usher beautiful dot border to outline this cookie, thanks Julia for the inspiration.❤️

It was so much fun to make uncommon flowers.

Wow!!! You got excited with the spatula!! Well done, dear Kanchana!! What a beautiful display, I love the flowers and the colours you used. Those little baby’s breath are gorgeous and add volume and delicacy to the whole arrangement. Congratulations, dear friend!♥️

This is another fantastic entry. I love the mix of large and small flowers, and the variations of color in each flower. It really adds to the realism. Your entry really shows that sculptural painting is so perfectly suited to royal icing - and to cookies! So, now that you have tried this technique (twice), do you think you will make more cookies like this?
