Hi Ryoko!!! Thank you for your thoughtful comment ❤️. Foot is still crummy but I'm doing better every day...you are so very sweet to ask . I can't make much progress  but I'm still at it for 1-3 hours each day. I'm hoping it will be finished this weekend or early part of next week. Yay!!

Oh I can only imagine the time it took to do all the piping on your Easter egg. The finished egg is definitely worth the time and effort. It's so very beautiful my dear friend @Ryoko ~Cookie Ave. I'm always excited to see what cookie creations you post here! You are very talented and so creative ❤️❤️❤️ Hugs...

This is beyond incredible work dear Ryoko @Ryoko ~Cookie Ave.!!! I just love how the entire challenge entry is stringwork with the exception of the base. Such a great idea to create a grid on paper underneath the silicone mold while you were piping. I love all the information you included in your explanation of how you made this wonderful entry. I'm STILL working on my entry but missed the deadline because of a foot injury that kept me from working at all for 2 weeks.

I love the dimension of the rhombus. Such a great idea to include the different types of stringwork in your entry. Once again your work is over the top gorgeous my dear cookie friend ❤️❤️❤️ Hugs...

Christine, I had some other design but I thought this design would be strong enough to hold the shape.  I saw construction of big building with rebar and concrete, I believed this intersecting lines should work.  (I don't have any knowledge of construction, though)

What I know is that  tip No. 1 is not strong enough for this size of egg.   If I add something to make RI stronger, tip No. 1 might work, too.  But I couldn't find what I should add, I just changed the tip to No. 2.  

Thanks, that makes sense. I do like the tip No. 2 thickness. It seems to really suit the design.

This is stunning, Ryoko! Your design is well thought out, complex, and very unique. I love the all-white design; all I notice is the beauty of the stringwork. Did you find all those intersecting lines gave your piece extra strength?

Thank you, Julia.  Now I can eat not only egg yolk but a whole one egg, egg yolk+ egg white.  

The next challenge is to suspend a yellow royal icing egg yolk in the middle of this egg! Up for that challenge??

LOL - I've been cutting my molds apart for years for all that dough shaping I do in my videos. I have bags of tiny molds all cut apart! No sweat.
