Very cute. Can you tell us something about how these cookies were made - i.e., the techniques used? I'm asking out of curiosity, but also to clarify your clip sets and tags. Thanks!

Translation of Patricia's remarks:

About the cookies I make first base, let it dry and then tracing the doll I 'll elaborate . Then I color by color and let it dry again . Finally drawing the face with markers and delineo cookie nozzle in this case filled with black icing . Sometimes I make them the same color image as in the case of calabazas.Espero understand me , or tell me and again I have doubts and I write .

Thanks - one more question: are the colors done with royal icing (wet-on-wet or wet-near-wet), or painted on? I think they're done with royal icing, but it's hard to tell from the image. Thanks again.

So cute and well done! Thanks!

Hi Julia I think that my mom did not understood your last question. So I'm going to answer you. Yes, she uses Royal icing. she just pinted color by color. when one color is totally dry she continues with the next color and so on. when all the colors are completed she pipe the final details using pipes that she make her own (similar of those that you yourself use) for the faces she uses non toxic markers and colors.

She somtimes uses the techniqe wet to wet, but this is not the case!

Hope this is more clear.

Thanks - I think I understood her comments, but these also help.
