As I'm slowly looking at posts over the last few weeks I keep running across one gorgeous stringwork piece after another! I missed this one of yours @LisaF. Ugh!! It's so, so beautiful! You've got this technique down girlfriend . I love this one with the cookie layers. Your work just keeps getting better and better. Fabulous my dear cookie friend ❤️❤️❤️ Hugs...

Thank you so much my lovely friend. I do hope you are recovering and feeling better. Big big hug!

Your husband is right, you did spin gold - white gold! I can completely relate to everything that you went through, including all of those "additional opportunities for learning" as I have often said before. But curse words and do-overs aside, I can also see things from your husband's perspective. This tiered stringwork design is both classic and elegant, and looks as though the creator effortlessly piped those strings like a master. This is really gorgeous work!

Thank you so much Christine.  I was so terrified during this entire process.  Suspended string work is just so fragile!!! I probably should have done a count or something to help with consistency of loop length.  But that would mean breathing, which really didn't happen that consistently on this one!  I am pleased with the result but I literally tension pain when I was finished!😂

Congratulations! I'm sure it was a hard process but also an exciting experience of what would be at the end!!! We are enjoying and learning!!!

Yes Susana - I've been learning a ton and enjoying the heck out of it!

LOL - Thank goodness for appreciative/supportive husbands, right?! It does look great though (one would never know it was preceded by lots of swearing! )

Thank you Julia.  Yes, my husband was quite supportive on this one.  I was on the phone with my sister and told her that I needed to strain the icing through stockings  and she said, "We're in a pandemic! We don't go anywhere! Who has stockings?" To which I said, "Target." So, my husband had to do a Target run for curbside pickup. 😂

Congratulations Lisa, your work is so gorgeous for being your very first experience!!! You always make me laugh with your descriptions. Well done, dear friend!♥️

Thank you dear Heather. ❤️❤️

Wow, amazing work dear Lisa👏👏👏 It's so perfect and delicate, could be as wedding cake cookie for each guest infront of him on table at the romantic wedding ❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍

thank you so much for your kind words Petra. 😘
