SOURDOUGH BREAD

I cut the shape freehand.
I only used a simple toothpick for painting and carving.

SHAPE:
* Mystery Shape #1 (Beginner)

TOOLS:
* toothpick
* scalpel
* plastic wrap (to rubbing technique)

MEDIA TYPES:
* gingerbread
* white powder food coloring

TECHNIQUES:
* freehand carving
* freehand painting
* rubbing technique

This is such creative thinking! Your sourdough bread loaves fill the shape perfectly. I would love to know how you came up with this idea - it's definitely an outside-the-box idea.

I love to bake bread and when I saw the cookie shape I immediately remembered the sourdough breads. I love the smell of bread as it is frying. It has such a warm autumn vibes. That’s why I carved an autumn tree leaf on one of the loaves. 🍁
