Nice! But could you give us a little more information about how the bottom cookie was done. The face looks stamped because the underlying icing looks slightly cracked. Is that right? And what about the lettering - done with edible markers or handpainted with coloring and a brush? Asking out of interest, but also to clarify your clip sets and tags. Thanks.

I need to get the hang of these tags!  Sorry, yes, rubber stamped while slightly wet to get a slightly raised impression and handpainted lettering.  BTW, Julia, you changed royal icing for me forever! Always struggled with how one dimensional royal icing tasted when made with meringue powder. Thank you for sharing your recipe.

Thanks for the nice words about my icing! And thanks for the clarification - I added some clip sets and tags to clarify the techniques used here.
