Is there a brand or type of individual wrapping bag, like a cellophane bag, that works well for royal icing cookies? I noticed when I wrapped some this weekend that the parts of the bag that were touching the icing were kind of sticking to it and discoloring the icing. I’ve never seen that happen before.

Are you sure they were dry?  That has never happen to me and I’ve bagged a lot of cookies.

Yes, they were dry. They dried all night and I pressed on one to check. I don’t know if it was the material of the bag?? Never happened before.

I use cello bags from several difference sources, but mostly Joanns because of coupons.  I’d say dry them longer.  In the winter it can take 24 hours to completely dry.
