Our state still has no cottage law on the books, having been shut down once again during the last legislative session. If anyone is interested in signing a petition to help us get one passed, an online link can be found here:

It only takes a minute to sign, and posting a "reason" is merely optional. Our local legislators are asking for a ground swell of signatures that they can present in the next session. Please give us your support, as Connecticut is one of fewer than ten states that are still holding out against this free enterprise. Thanks!

I'm in NJ and we're having the same problem. It's been a few years since we started the process. There is a small dedicated group of people who have been devoting a lot of time to try to get a law passed. It's frustrating, but hang in there. I hope that both our states will see the light soon.

Thanks, Julia and Robin.

Our petition is up to 900 signers with (obviously) 100 to go to reach 1,000. I hope we can get to that thousand mark by the beginning of the year when the legislative session starts up again (I believe.)

p.s. Robin, if NJ has an online petition, I'd be happy to sign it if you can provide a link. Anyone can support another's state's Cottage Law bill as a potential customer.
