Hi there ya'll! This week I've been working on my Halloween cookies. It's one of my favorite things to do! Lol, I could use some feedback on what I can do to take this little guy to the next level. I'm totally stressing  . . .IMG_20180818_180733IMG_20180818_180653
over the symmetry . . . Or rather the lack of. I hand-cut all my designs so I've pretty much given up on ever achieving perfection. (sigh) Question . . .How many drafts do you guys do before you call it good enough?

I thought the same thing. He is super cute and some over piping on the wings would just bring it all together. I tell myself that all the time and sometimes I end up doing it and sometimes not because I think I will end up ruining it!

So yeah i did the over piping. ..but made some mistakes.  Which really wasn't surprising! Lol i decided to have some fun with it and practice my techniques. Question... Why do my beads end up with a hole in the middle 50 % of the time? Its so frustrating! IMG_20180819_205833

Cute! Try thickening the icing a touch - I find that when they're too loose and big, they can crater. But not so much that you get peaks.
