This is my entry for this challenge. When I watched the demo by Evelindecora I immediately thought about applying the Crochet technique on jumpers, gloves, a winter hat... And even on a snowflake😊. I really had fun in decorating all of them and I'm really satisfied with the  color hues result achieved, even if sometimes my stiff icing became a little bit creamy. Thank you so much @Evelindecora and @Manu biscotti decorati for this amazing challenge❤️

Dear @MANUELA CANTÙ, I assume we use same RI brand: Squires Kitchen. Probably if it gets creamy from stiff consistency after few minutes it means you should dedicate more time in mixing it, 6-7 minutes about, with handle elecrtic mixer, small RI quantity.

If instead it becomes creamy after one day or two it is absolutely normal! It is natural RI fermentation proceed, it becomes gluey and full of micro-bubbles. My suggestion is to mix and use immediately your RI when the willing is to have super stiff or stiff consistency, necessary to do intricate fine piping as piped crochet technique or similar 😘

Thanks for the tip Evelin! Yes I used Squires Kitchen royal icing as usual. I mixed it longer this time, I noticed it became creamy while doing some 'V's especially on the gloves, don't know if it was due to the narrow space between the vertical lines so that the V weren't super precise sometimes, or because I left the piping bag with the icing under the lamp while working on the different cookies and maybe it became warmer. Good to know that if it becomes creamy after a day or two it is normal. I noticed it yesterday when I was piping the little roses. Some of them weren't fully precise. ❤️By the way I enjoyed this challenge,so I will give it another try, let's see if the icing becomes creamy again😘😘

My fave consistency to pipe lines and these intricate piped embroideries is super stiff. I love when the design is visible and RI stay thick in its shape both in flowers and in fine piping.

….yes, high temperatures also accelerate the deterioration of mixed RI 👍🏻

How nice, Manu @MANUELA CANTÙ!What a nice idea to personalize the crochet with little dots of royal icing. I like the contrast against the dark blue.

The crochet accents on the snowglake look perfect! 💙
