๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜ฒOh Christine, this is insane and SOOOOO beautiful!!! Amazing work, dear friend. How long did you take to complete all those perfect dots? Congratulations, I love itโ™ฅ๏ธ

Thank you dear Heather @Heather Bruce Sosa, I'm glad you like it. I made this about two months ago, and I honestly can't remember how long it took. I only know that it took hours . . . as do most of my cookies. ๐Ÿ˜

Given the amount of time you spend on your cookies, do you ever have problems with the cookies softening or crumbling? (asking for a friend ๐Ÿ˜‚)

@LisaF You mean the amount of time I spend on one cookie? ๐Ÿ˜‚ Since my cookies aren't meant to be eaten, they sit out for days (sometimes weeks) and don't soften or crumble, although I prefer them to "dry out" as much as possible. My other cookies that are a couple of years old tend to crumble but the icing holds them together.

Lol. Yes, I do mean the time spent on one/each cookie. I asked because in the cookies I use for the challenges, when they arenโ€™t meant to be eaten, I sometimes have softening/crumble issues. I think Iโ€™m going to try baking them longer this time.

@LisaF Sorry, I thought you were talking about the cookies you donate. ๐Ÿ˜… For my cookie art, I am mindful not to underbake my cookies. I roll between plastic wrap, so I'm not adding extra flour either. I also keep my cookies sitting out the entire time.  I never put them in a container where they can soften up. I also prefer them to sit out (dry out) for several days before I add icing.

Ahhh. Thanks so much for the insight. Thereโ€™s always so much to learn!
