Thought to paint myself on a cookie but ended up painting someone else..lol.

For this I used Gel food colouring, undiluted and painted with the dry brush method. Used blow dryer to dry each layer.

 
 

This is a really beautiful portrait! It really works in black and white (and shades of grey!). I wonder if it would have worked to dust each painted layer with corn flour/starch, rather than using a blow dryer, or if the blow dryer was more effective and/or quicker. It looks like your royal icing flood was starting to dissolve from the painting process, but I really like that in this entry because it gives the portrait the look of vintage photo paper. This is a great addition to the challenge!
