I sprayed the orange color with Wilton color spray, hand painted the thick lines with thinned down Americolor, and finally, the thin, inner lines with edible marker.

Yes, Spopek people eat these! I personally don't like to eat black icing that looks like insects, but it doesn't seem to bother others.
