For last week’s cookies for food distribution I relied heavily on royal icing transfers.  The container and flowers are transfers.  I just had to attach them and add leaves.  I decided it really needed a pop of something so I added lines to the containers.  The line adding gave me such an appreciation for those of you who specialize in meticulous lines.  I was all over the place!  I did 450 lines in total but I’m sure Christine @Sweet Prodigy does that number per cookie!  Hats off to you my friend.

Nonetheless, I am quite pleased with the result.  I started making poinsettias but they were taking too much time and were too inconsistent.  I went with just festive red blossoms, which gave me enough time to get started on holiday baking.

@LisaF 450 sounds about right for one of my cookies. Those white lines add just the right amount of visual interest and contrast to the red and green colors. But I have to laugh because whenever I see things like this the first thought that pops into my head is, that's a lot of lines, I would never want to pipe that many lines!  🤣 I'm sure these were very much appreciated.

I seriously thought of you the entire time I piped those lines!  I corrected a few at the beginning (as I have seen you do!) and then decided I was willing to settle for mediocrity. 😂

You nailed it, yet again, dear Lisa! I love the vibrant red contrasting the beautiful green and white containers. Gorgeous! Congratulations dear friend for your commitment, dedication and the love you gave in each distribution, you have been amazing. ♥️

Thank you so much Heather. You're words are always so uplifting. I really was quite pleased with these - and you know that's not always the case!
