Thank you everyone!  Econlady, I don't keep track of exact hours, but at times it seemed like forever .  I started baking pieces the day after Thanksgiving.  I worked on it off and on for 3 days that weekend, then during the week in the evenings after work, around kid's ballgames, etc. then finished it this past weekend.

I just came across this carousel for the first time, and I am amazed. It is so beautiful and creative! You made a great decision to use a more subdued green and leave parts of the cookie bare, as it makes all the intricate details really stand out. Absolutely stunning, like a little Christmas children's fantasy. Bravo!
