Excellent work all around. Do you think you will be doing more airbrusing in the future?
Thanks Christine. I am planning on air brushing more now. I can definitely see how practice can pay off. I also think I am able to do a better job of matching my current skill level with stencils and hopefully build more confidence that way.
WOW!! Lisa, these are so soooo very beautiful!! ❤️I love the transition of colors. And I love this stencil pattern. Absolutely great work my friend!! @LisaF
Thanks Gabi. It was a big boost to my confidence. I’m excited to play around with the airbrush more!

Challenge #50 – Julia M Usher Tutorial. First off, let me say that I love these cookies. I have had so many issues with airbrushing – mishaps, messes, disasters, you name it. I adore Julia’s stencils and while I have quite a few, I have been very hesitant to use them. I felt I just couldn’t do them justice. Additionally, I am usually focused on designs I can easily duplicate on 100 plus cookies and it was all just too much for me to wrap my head around.
After taking Julia’s class last weekend, I felt much more confident and informed. So, I decided to select one of her airbrushing tutorials and focus on one complete design https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqxpJAZsU3A After replaying the video a number of times , I realized that she has always provided all the necessary information – I just wasn’t paying enough attention. When I tried the project this time, it worked like a charm. I could not be more thrilled.
Recently, I have started gifting a few dozen cookies to various groups or individuals who have been so helpful over the past couple of years. These will work beautifully. Now I can’t wait to play with the other stencils that I have been too scared to try. Thank you Julia!!!!
Overjoyed to hear you say this! These look great. BTW, this set is one of my all-time faves because it does so well with "conscious color commingling" (in other words, it's forgiving even if you do overspray)!
