My latest pastime involves Cookie Bombing.  I try and think of someone who may need a smile – a caretaker, first responder, non-profit worker or an acquaintance with a birthday. Then I surprise them with one or two dozen cookies!  This has given me a wonderful opportunity to practice airbrushing. Julia’s stencils provide endless possibilities.  I realize I still have a long way to go but the only way to get there with practice.  In the meantime though, recipients are still blown away by Julia’s designs.
I haven't been posting that much but I have definitely been cookieing.  And having so much fun cookie bombing people!😂

Wow - I must say that your stenciling/airbrushing practice is really paying off! These are really well done - no underspray and very little overspray (unless where intended). Great job with one of my favorite sets!

And I love this cookie-bombing idea!

Thank you Julia.  I've really been trying to practice and focus more than I had previously.  Thinking it through and prepping properly helps a lot.  I've been having a lot of fun!

Great idea! The recipients must be thrilled to receive these beautiful cookies!

Thank you Christine.  While I do think people are delighted, there is also a healthy dose of bewilderment (which I find amusing!) There were two receptionists at a place I dropped off - I had made enough for everyone in the office even though I was only acquainted with one employee.  No one really knew that I cookied.  I presented the plates and one of the women said, "Oh my God!  Where did you get these?!?" I said, "My oven."  The other woman said, "My oven doesn't do that."  It killed me. 😂
