Hi, cookie lovers.

This fall love cookie was inspired by my children's first day of school

Also, thanks @Aproned Artist  for inspiration from the orchid cookie set. This is my way of how to reuse easter egg mold.

  1. you will need: 3D Easter  Egg Silicone Mold, foil, a  pastry roller, a painting knife, a small round cookie cutter or any cutter with one roundy side (I use a rose  petal fondant cutter), a small piece of the rainbow cookie dough from the fridge.
  2. Fill egg mold with foil tightly. It will help to keep the shape while adding relief later. Roll out the orange dough in 3-4mmStep 1-2
  3. Put the dough up. Spread the dough over the mould. Don´t make it roundy at the top but press the dough with your fingers to make a corner
  4. Take a palette knife. Make 4 conditional lines: the first line - from the top to the bottom in the center,  the second and the third lines  - in the middle between the egg side and central line;the  forth  -  perpendicular to the first line for the future  umbrella perimetre

Step 3-45. Take the small round cutter.

6. Cut the dough starting in the one  umbrella tip and finishing in the next one

7. Cut arced edge of the umbrella perimeter  in this way

Step 5-7

8 . Cut sides  with the pastry roller

9. Remove dough leftovers. Use the pastry knife to make it neatly near the arced edge.

10. Take round cutter and press it to the sides to smooth the rugged dough edges

11. Add deeper lines to point the ribs

Step 8-11

12. Remove the foil base and bake according to the rainbow cookie recipe

After baking let the umbrella cookie cool completely on the mold. Otherwise hot cookies may crack or even   break down.

Step 12

Cute cookie, though, if you are referring to the orchid cookie you saw on this site, it was made in a tutorial by @Aproned Artist. I’ve made tons of contoured cookies like your umbrella, just not for an orchid cookie.

Yes, you are right. Tutorial was so amazing.  Sorry. I correct the referens.

Also, please just submit comments once. If you get a notice that they’ve gone into my moderation queue (which your last several have done for some unknown reason), you do not need to re-post them. I will eventually get to reviewing and approving them, but please allow 24 hours. Thank you!

Of course. Sorry for disturb. It was my first experience with moderation approve. So I missed it. I will be more attentive next time.

Love this! Such a clever way to make a 3d umbrella.

Thank ❤️ To attention to my cookie)

I guess if turn the the egg harf   up side down and add ring to the bottom and a handle, it will be a simple but pretty basket for flowers or mini eggs
