Hi cookie fan!

All these bright and volumed flowers were shaped and baked from my rainbow cookie recipe.  No icing here.

I made many experiments, used different tools and approach  to keep cookie dough shapes& textures in the oven! It was hard.

I have a lot of ideas how to use and make not only flowers, but also characters, for example. I hope my idea to make bright cookies without icing will become a new wave in the sweet word)

Also this flowers can be used  for decorating cakes, cupcakes (It's simple and tasty  replacement of  the fondant) ....

..... or pack them and go to the park with a friend and cups of tea

So extraordinary! I love them! Do you let the dough rest to achieve such vibrant colors?

No. I have 2 strategy. This one is dividing the dough after mixing and  coloring  parts in different colors. I use food color gels by Chefmaster brand. 2-3  drops was enough for bright colors. Shape and bake immediately. My colorful dough  doesn't become brighter by time.
