Please, I am so interested in your cookie!!! It seems like it must have a glaze on it to make it a  little shinny! Your work is so beautiful and I'm practicing every day. I want to be able to make those beautiful cookies half as wonderful as yours...

Do you know why they are so bright? Before they are cooked 2-3 min, the shot out of the oven and those with the paint brush with the egg, after still get back in the oven for 2-3 min. I kind gingerbread cookie Slovakian recipe, I am a Slovak girl.Sorry I write with translator :-) 

Please...I googled the slovak honey gingerbread and got a couple of recipes yesterday and I made one of them,, they puffed and had a shine but aren't dark enough... guess I will try using molasses instead of honey, altho I love the flavor of the ones I made.. Thanks for any help Dalla... appreciate

They are dark with cacao
