Thank you for your kindness.  I made some extra for my husband who had one with his coffee and he said it hit the spot.  But he is incredibly biased.

Admittedly, there is not much to see here.  The photo isn’t very good and the cookie is just a basic acorn.  I’m sharing this because, given all of the distractions in this country this week, I am quite proud that I completed 150.  The top of the acorn is a royal icing transfer.  Without the hatch marks, however, it looks an awful lot like a poop emoji.  Which means I spent a considerable amount of time surrounded by poop emojis. They were visible in the background on video chats and I was repeatedly asked what the story was with all of the poop emojis. A person can say “They’re acorn hats” only so many times. I had planned on doing something more creative with the base of the acorn but I just couldn’t get it done.  I blame the poop emoji/acorn hats.
