Oh my! A lot of hours indeed! The most boring thing is to wait that butter goes on kitchen paper and not on icing after have baked the cookies, sometimes it takes one whole day. Flood needs at least 8 hours here before it is completely dry...the fun starts after icing prep and all these endless things

So sorry to have missed seeing your design sooner...have been unable to move due to a bulged disk in my neck. No decorating cookies for a little while .. Really miss everyone!!

I knew this was a "many hours" cookie! All the time and work that went into creating this piece is what separates it from the five-minute cookie and makes it a masterpiece!

I have just been drawing with my kids. First we read two short stories and then draw some characters. I made the "blue  riding hood" and the daughter of the "Marqués de Carabás" from the cat with boots. Perhaps I will try with these two ones! I love character cookies but MUST be able to draw them by myself, of my own creation -  Let's see where I get !
