Each year I usually make a 3D gingerbread creation for a Christmas celebration in my town. However, the gingerbread display was cancelled during the pandemic and they decided not to bring it back. Instead, they used the space for selling crafts, gifts and sweets. All of the proceeds go to local charities. I took all of my disappointment in the cancellation of the gingerbread display and turned it into cookies! I donated 80 cookies for them to sell. Julia’s stencils played a major role. I had such a blast decorating. This is one design. The attached poinsettia is a royal icing transfer.

Love, love, love what you did with my stencils , and the piped poinsettia look great!

Thank you Julia. I had so much fun with this and the stencil was so forgiving! I made 20 of these but I could have played around with the details and various color shades forever!

WOW!!! It's absolutely beautiful and sooo festive my dear cookie friend Lisa!! Love the stenciled design and the wonderful red poinsettia!!  @LisaF ❤️

Thank you so much my friend 😘❤️

Another beautiful Christmas magic cookie dear Lisa @LisaF!! Your use of Julia's wonderful stencils is perfection. And I love the poinsettia you added to the design.  80 cookies?! Wow, that's a LOT of work my dear . Simply awesome ❤️❤️❤️ Hugs...

Thanks so much. It was a labor of love but I had so much fun. It was a wonderful opportunity to practice airbrushing! It helped build my confidence tremendously
