Though lovely as is, these cookies are even more striking as "platters" for my 3-D sandwiched wedding cake cookies, or as part of my 3-D cookie wedding bouquets! (pictured below; video coming soon!) But given their relatively ornate nature, these doilies are deserving of this video of their own! They're also a pretty way to practice outlining, flooding, and beadwork techniques, as well as quick-drying with a dehydrator.

It is good practice for that!

I've looked forward to seeing this video and enjoyed every minute of it! I've never used parchment cones, but will give them a try soon, I like the finer lines you achieved on your doily cookie, using the parchment cone. The tip you shared, for using the dehydrator to dry the surface of the royal icing, to avoid cratering, is a wonderful tip! I see a dehydrator in my future. Thanks so much for this very informative video! And for sharing your talent and tips on creating your eyelet lace doily cookies! They are so beautiful!

Thanks - I don't claim credit for the dehydrator tip; it originated from some other cookier(s), but it's a good one!

I always enjoy your work but this one is breathtaking!! So much incredible detail. I can't seem to master the parchment cone, I'll have to give it another go. Thank you for all you do, your time and energy are greatly appreciated!! I can't imagine how you do it all, but thank you!!

You're so welcome. It's been a tough year, with too many irons in the fire. But it's all very rewarding.
