Oh how beautiful @Susie Jacobs!! I love your bonsai tree! It's so realistic and well done. Really gorgeous work...and that teapot. Simply wow!! Love all the coordingating colors and tiny details. Your needlepoint (needle, scissors, embroidery hoop) are done so realistically. Love the set!! ❤️❤️❤️ Hugs...

Thank you so much! I adore working on details, so thank you for noticing! 🥰

The judges told me that they weren’t sure the teapot was cookie at first (but they realized it was when they picked it up).

Thank you Julia! It was great to see you there! This poor cookie piece went through a lot, and I was just thrilled it made it to the table! Between the tree arriving broken and the competition room being so humid that the tea pot handle (made of Flexipaste) actually had collapsed overnight after setup but before judging… it was decided one of my more stressful competition experiences!

You recovered well!

Wow Susie!!!! This is absolutely gorgeous, there are so many beautiful details and techniques in your work of art. Congratulations !♥️

Thank you Heather! This one was a tough one, so the win is that much sweeter!

OMG! Congrats to this beautiful work of art dear Susie!!  @Susie Jacobs Such a great work!!! The needle!! AMAZING!!!  ❤️

Thank you so much! 😊 I used a noodle coated in royal icing and then painted with edible silver dust & grain alcohol for the needle. I was so pleased with it!

Wonderful! So glad to see it close up here! Unfortunately, I was unable to get in to see the entries at the show (too much to do with the booth). But I can clearly see why it placed (so much thought and detail in it)! Congrats!
