Maple Leaves

I had so much fun with this week’s cookie for food distribution.  I played around with flavors and added maple extract to both the cookie and the icing. The cookies smell and taste like pancakes!! I used a light-yellow icing as the base and then went to town with five different colors of airbrushing.  I made an enormous mess but everything (including me) smelled like pancakes, which ultimately delighted my husband.

Outstanding! They look so real to life!  Almost makes me want to jump into a pile of them!🍁🍃🍂 but I think I'd rather eat them😉
