I chose Challenge 31-wet-on-wet for the overall practice bakes perfect Challenge 50. I like the smoothness of W-o-W and the challenge of creating an image without it becoming a hot mess.   For this challenge I left it at just the flat surface but I understand overpiping over the dried surface is possible.  This is something I am going to explore using the Lambeth method or stringwork for my next project.

Wet-on-wet is such a versatile technique when it comes to design - the only limit is one's imagination. Your design are very unique. Did you plan them in advance or was it more of an organic process?

No I did think of it before hand.  This is part of a larger work and I wanted individual cookies to kind of reinforce what I had done.  I wanted flowers but not usual petals and stamens etc.  My ideas often run ahead of my skills but the colours worked and the effect was meant to be happy.  I Just feel W-o-W looks easy but it is tricky to control.

I can see the creativity in your work. Wet-on-wet can be tricky depending on the design, but it definitely looks like you are on the right track.
