@Shamantha (Blyssful Cookies) - Lovely, but another question: Did you intend to post this house into the Practice Bakes Perfect Challenge? I ask, because I saw several other untitled posts that relate to this one, one of which shows a "2020" on the house.

If so, this post is currently NOT entered in the challenge, as you did not select the "Practice Bakes Perfect" clip set, and the "2020" is not visible on this photo, or on any photos attached in comments underneath. So to enter, you must:

1) Edit this photo by selecting the "Practice Bakes Perfect" clip set and adding a "Practice Bakes Perfect Challenge #43" caption (sub-title) to the photo.

2) You must attach another view (or views) of the entry in A COMMENT UNDER THIS PHOTO (one of which must show the "2020") and then delete the six or seven other untitled views of it that you posted as separate photos. (We only allow one primary entry, with additional views posted underneath that one photo in a comment.)

I've already deleted two of the other photo views from the site, as they exceeded our site posting limit of five photos per day. Again, please review our Site Posting Guidelines, as they explain why we have this rule and others.

If you have any questions or need help editing this photo to enter the challenge, then please reach out to @Sweet Prodigy, our challenge host.

If you do NOT want to enter the challenge with this photo, then you need to edit the other untitled photo views that you posted today to give them proper photo titles and tags, as I described in my other email and post to you.

Thank you so much.

@Shamantha (Blyssful Cookies) Also, to add to Julia's comment, if you do intend on including this house in the "Practice Bakes Perfect" clip set, you will need to let us know what techniques you used (at least three) and the inspiration or meaning behind your gingerbread house in order to be considered for the Spotlight and prizes (as per Rules 1 and 7 of the challenge). If you have any questions or are unsure of anything, just let me know.

Hi Julia... I have posted it under the challenge #43 but it is not showing up.  Could you please let me know how can I add these photos to the challenge list or would you recommend me to upload again onto the challenge list. As I could not spot any options to change in edit clip. Thank you.

Oh ok... looks like I missed to mention those. Will add it on but would like to know how do I edit clips to post it under challenge #43. Thank you.

No, you haven't selected the "Practice Bakes Perfect Entries" clip set; that is why it is not showing up. You need to edit this clip - click "Manage Clip/Edit Clip" to the right, then scroll down until you see the "Practice Bakes Perfect Entries" clip set on the right (see screen shot); select that clip set; and hit the "update" button at the bottom of the post. This is exactly how you selected the "Christmas Cookies" and other clip sets that are showing on this post.

BUT, IN ADDITION TO QUALIFY, YOU MUST:

1) Change the caption field (that now contains, "my first gingerbread house") to "Practice Bakes Perfect Challenge #43".

2) Attach a view of the house that includes the "2020" on it in A COMMENT UNDER THIS PHOTO.

3) Explain what techniques you used and the project inspiration per @Sweet Prodigy's comment above.

4) Delete the other four views of the house that you posted as separate photos to the site yesterday (we do not allow duplicate challenge entries on the site).

I can do all of this for you, but I would rather you figure out how to do it, especially if you plan to enter future challenges. Thank you. Please tag @Sweet Prodigy if you need additional help figuring out how to do this.

See my comment above - to edit a clip, select "Manage Clip" to the right of the post; then select "Edit Clip". Then proceed to change the caption and select the "Practice Bakes Perfect Entries" clip set as I noted in my other comment. PLEASE GIVE THIS A TRY AND LET US KNOW HOW IT GOES. See the screenshots below that show where to find "Manage Clip" and "Edit Clip".

Hi Everyone... I made this gingerbread house inspired by the morrocan styled tiles. The first technique used is the line work on the roof which is hand piped without using any stencil or mold. They were traced using a projector. Although time consuming but I liked the end result. The designs on the sides and doors were piped freestyle. The second technique used is the dimensional piping for the Santa and the Elves. The third technique is the freestanding royal iced Christmas tree.  The fourth technique is the candies used for the windows. And the year 2020 is designed on top of the roof as a part of the snow covering. This is my first gingerbread house and I'm happy the way it has turned out. Hope you all liked it too. Merry Christmas and a Happy New cheerful year ahead to all of you.

Thanks for the detailed description! You did an awesome job. Congratulations! Happy New Year!♥️

It's hard to believe that this is your first gingerbread house. Everything fits together so perfectly including the L-shaped roof. I love the classic Christmas elements such as the candy canes and wreaths that you have added. Santa going down the chimney while the elves play happily outside makes me think of the joy that Christmas brings. And your pressure piping of St. Nick is fantastic. The time and effort that you put into creating the Moroccan-style roof really shows. I also love your delicate royal icing Christmas tree and how you have mirrored its pattern on the front of the house. Very nice work.

Thank you so much Christine 😍. Means a lot to receive a compliment from you. 🤗

Soo beautiful, love your icing tree, stencil on the roof and great touch scenery with all those happy elfs on right, well done dear, awesome work 👏❤️

Thank you very much Petra. Adore your work too... 😍

I always love seeing the gingerbread exposed. The piped details are gorgeous and the icing tree looks fabulous.

Me too... I love the gingerbread  to be seen in a gingerbread house especially. Thank you Tunde. ❤
