My first attempt at Stained Glass Cookies

Pretty neat - is it a cardinal?

I really like the outcome, though I have to admit it looks more like mosaic than stained glass.

But as Wildflower was kind enough to let me know - an artist does everything on purpose

I think they turned out gorgeous!  I have been trying to come up with what design I want to do for my first stained glass window cookies.  Did you fill all with white, then go back and hand paint or did you fill with different colored icings?  Either way, great job and awesome first try!

I first outlined a 'naked' cookie with an edible black marker, outlined with black icing, filled in the different colors with icing and finally handpainted with very watered down food colors.
