I made a party hat using aluminum foil and placed the cookie hat over it to secure the shape while baking. I used an extruder to make strings for pompoms. I cut the fondant letters using an alphabet cutter and modeled the discs to line the base of the hat.

This is a great entry. I love how using only white keeps the focus on the different fondant techniques that you used. What is the theme for your entry (as per Rule 2)?

Also, please remember that in order to qualify for the Spotlight, you will need to make sure that you follow all of the rules, including Rule 1: "Create a set of at least three (3) cookies . . ."

I'm so sorry for not reading the rules properly. I just made one piece so I agree that I'm not eligible for the challenge. The theme is big and here it is. Gingerbread belongs to Christmas and while we celebrate Christmas let's enter this new year with a pure heart.

Also thank you for the challenge. This made me practice fondant work which I had never tried before

That's a great theme! I am glad to hear that the challenged spurred you to try fondant. Great work – I hope you continue to practice.
